In Summary

If you love KitKat, this is the break you’ve been waiting for! We have an exciting new HR Apprenticeship that will give you a fantastic foundation for your career in Human Resource Management.

Job Description

If you want a debt-free, recognised qualification, combined with workplace training and a real role in a global business, then look no further!  Our HR Apprenticeship will see you study for a Level 5 qualification from the industry body, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). This will be combined with you undertaking interesting and varied roles across our renowned HR function allowing you to make a genuine contribution to the business from day one.

What can you expect?

The three-year programme offers you an amazing opportunity to blend studies with practical experience in our global business.  By the end of the Apprenticeship, you'll have developed the professional knowledge, skills and behaviours to set you up for your future in Nestlé HR.

In the first two years you'll gain invaluable experience across our HR Operations, Centre of Expertise, and HR Business Partner roles.  In your final year, you will specialise in a specific area, based on your strengths, future aspirations and our business needs.  From day one as an HR Apprentice you will be given real responsibility through managing projects, implementing change and supporting our diverse business portfolio.  You’ll also have strong connections to senior leaders in our business, including support from a dedicated Academy champion and opportunities to interact with our Nestlé Leadership Team.

Initially, this role will be based in our York head office, however in order to become immersed in the breadth of the role, you will be expected to be geographically mobile in the UK.

Additional Information

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for ambitious and innovative candidates who are full of (coffee) beans and have a genuine passion for learning and developing their career in HR.  You will need to be highly committed because studying while working in a fast-moving business like ours will have its challenges. However, it will also be incredibly rewarding and will open the doors to you for a career in our prestigious business, one of the world’s largest FMCG companies.

In return for your hard work, we'll pay your course fees, as well as all your costs for accommodation, meals and travel while you're studying. Not to mention the provision of great support and a variety of benefits.

Whether you’re fresh out of college or a recent graduate this is a fantastic first step to develop a career in HR. Or, for those more experienced outside of HR, this could be the perfect opportunity to change direction in your career. To be eligible for this programme, candidates who completed their A-levels in 2017 or later will need 104 UCAS points from three A Levels (excluding General Studies) or equivalent. The equivalent requirement based on the former UCAS scoring system (2016 and previous) is 260 UCAS points. Applicants who already have an HR Degree unfortunately are not eligible for this programme.

If this sounds like your cup of coffee, then apply today.

Our Assessment Centre for this will be held on 27th April 2018
