What the Supply Chain Apprenticeship entails

An Apprenticeship in Supply Chain means getting to know every stage of the journey our products take before they reach their final destination—our consumers. You will learn by doing—procuring raw materials from suppliers, liaising with factories and working with hauliers to arrange dispatches. We want you to experience the whole process so that you can decide where you really fit in.

You will rotate around 3 different placements within Supply Chain responding to business needs. You will have real accountability, but still have our expert Supply Chain professionals on hand to support you, rest assured. Not only will this give you the most thorough overview of what life’s like here, it will show you the possibilities your career could hold and the various paths you could take.

The mentorship you’ll receive will—like the product journey you’ll manage—help you transform into the finished article. You will come away knowing you can cut it at a global business and be on the way to some serious career achievements.

Who is eligible for the Supply Chain Apprenticeship?

We don’t expect you to have previous Supply Chain experience, but you will need the drive to develop your professional skills— such as communication, attention to detail and relationship building—to a whole new level.

You will also need 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English, with actual or predicted grades at 9–4 (or A*-C if received in 2017 or earlier). But what we’re really excited to find out is where you want to go in your career with Nestlé.
