Job Description

What can you expect?
This is a four-year UK wide programme which is split between college and workplace.
The initial college period is twenty weeks where you will be residential at Storthes Hall just outside Huddersfield.
This provides a great opportunity for you to build relationships with all your peers from around the country who are on the course too. ​We will cover all travel and accomodation costs, including meal allowances.
This will help supplement your on the job work experience, learning about our electrical and mechanical technology and how it makes us the global market leader we are.

Your skills will grow to match the scale of our operations, as will your flexibility to turn your hand to new challenges and master new equipment.
Not to mention ensuring that you cover all the basics in safety, quality and hygiene.

We’ve seen previous Apprentices go on to become highly successful Engineering Specialists, Maintenance Managers, Project Engineers and Engineering Managers, looking after large teams and responsible for multi-million pound budgets.
To keep you on-track your starting salary will increase each year on successful completion of your training.

Who are we looking for?
We’re after individuals who just need the chance to show how they can make a difference, add value and excel – we’re the largest food and drinks manufacturer in the world, so this is a unique opportunity. The apprenticeship starts in September 2019.
To be considered, you will need: 5 GCSEs or equivalent (actual or predicted) at grades 9 - 4 (or A* - C if received in 2017 or previous), which must include English and Maths.
