Job Description

Are you methodical, forward-thinking and keen to learn a wide range of engineering skills alongside experts?

Engineering in the world's largest food company is a challenging prospect, requiring the flexibility to master the different technologies and processes that we use throughout our factories. As a Nestle Engineering Graduate you will join a dedicated team in one of our factories or at the Nestlé Product Technology Centre (NPTC), working with some of the world’s biggest and most-loved brands, with fantastic opportunities to learn, develop and progress.

In the two years on the Nestlé Engineering Graduate Scheme, you'll typically work at two factories across the UK where you'll quickly learn to apply the fundamentals of engineering within an operations environment. During the programme you will need to demonstrate a passion to understand our manufacturing processes, from detailed mechanical design through to the advanced process control required to make our products. You could quickly find yourself involved in a project to commission a new plant or technology, delivering business improvements around asset maintenance and reliability, or finding ways to reduce energy and waste within our operations. Throughout this time, you will be mentored by a senior engineering professional who will work in conjunction with your line managers to ensure you realise your full potential.

Within our Engineering Graduate programme you'll enjoy the scope to deliver results using your creativity and initiative, and you'll be able to actively continue your development towards Chartered Engineering status. Throughout the programme you’ll have strong senior connections, including support from a dedicated graduate champion and opportunities to interact with our Nestlé Leadership Team. We'll encourage you to develop your skills and career through different engineering positions within our factories – opening up possibilities for you to become a Technical Specialist, Engineering Manager, Project Manager, or even to branch out into broader technical management roles.
